Writer. Reader. Hufflepuff.

I have a penchant for dreaming of sexy soul collectors, illustrious Dukes, and brooding werewolves. When not writing or reading, you can find me curled up with a fuzzy blanket, hot tea, and binge-watching The Office. I love all things paranormal, sparkly, and British. I also have a borderline unhealthy obsession with glitter.

About Me

Hey, there! I'm Britt, but you'll most likely find me under the name Imogen Isles.

I try to write sometimes. Actually, all the time, but whether it works in my favor is yet to be determined. I like to say that I've been writing as long as I could pick up a pen. But I did take a little detour for awhile, focusing on a variety of other media like drawing and painting and graphic design, and I had a good time. It did take me a few years to swerve back into it, but in that space I learned that I'm genuinely happiest when telling stories.

So, I call myself an artist. A daydreamer. I wouldn't know who I am if I wasn't creating (probably really unpleasant tbh, but I digress).

I'm a lover of almost all YA Fiction, especially in the Paranormal and Speculative genres. My go-to authors are Laini Taylor, Maggie Stiefvater, Mackenzie Lee, Leigh Bardugo, V.E. Schwab, and Libba Bray.

One of my life goals is to see one of my books on the shelves at Target.

You grow ravenous.

You run fevers. You know exhilarations. You can't sleep at night, because your beast-creature ideas want out and turn you in your bed.

It is a grand way to live.
